Yoga Teacher and Holistic Health Therapist

As a qualified Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga teacher my yoga style became more influenced by “Therapy Yoga,” through my own personal healing experiences.
 
I studied many forms of yoga including Vinyasa flow, Chakra Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Restorative and Taoist Yoga and fused them with Qi Gong and other energy practices.
 
In my classes and trainings I pay particular attention to the individual needs of my students, in every present moment. My way of teaching is a special yoga therapy for people who want to understand what the mind and body really need to be in harmony.
 
Combining the principles of yoga, meditation, Traditional Chinese Medicine and different healing techniques is a core strength of my teaching and therapeutic work.
 
Classes at the Oodles Retreat are 70 minutes long incl. guided relaxation, meditation, yoga mats & props.

Yoga Teacher and Coach
Originally from Sweden, Erika has been living both in Europe and South America,
and now
considers Spain as her home.
 
Erika maintains a harmonious blend of spiritual and scientific beliefs and offers both personal and business coaching.
 
Spending the winters in Brazil,  summers in Sweden and Spain, she has embraced remote work for greater freedom.

Today Erika teaches in retreats and yoga studios and also enjoys arranging her own yoga retreats.

Yoga and Pilate Teacher
A long career in the health and fitness industry has taught me so much about people. I’ve experienced every fitness fad going and delivered training courses on many of them. UK leading health and fitness training providers, prestigious UK health spas and presented at one of the industry’s leading UK showcase events.

Yoga and Pilates are my long-term passion and that grew from teaching ballet, modern and contemporary dance, all of which are based around the Pilates technique.

My mantra is exercise should be fun, achievable and accessible, I’ve taught classes with experienced exercisers as well as complete beginners – after all, what is a beginner!

Following a spinal injury in my recovery I appreciated even more the importance of good technique, I revisited the 6 Pilates principles and applied them to my own recovery. As well as my teaching I have studied Subtle Yoga and how it benefits the neuromuscular pathways. I discovered a whole new audience of mature women wanting to improve posture, bone and joint strength, balance, look good and feel good. Who doesn’t want to feel good about themselves!

My sessions are fun, educational, and effective.
