Meet Sharda

As an Ayurveda lifestyle coach and yoga therapist she guides people toward a healthy lifestyle where they learn to listen to their body, trust their own wisdom, and can draw on the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. 

Sharda was born in Surinam yet she always felt a deep connection to India, the land of her ancestors. This natural pull led her to study Ayurveda, Panchakarma and Yoga Therapy in India with over 20 years of experience. With her multicultural background, mindset practices, spiritual approach and coaching perspectives, she provides a unique blend of support to individuals and groups.

Sharda lives in Moraira where she offers private one-on-one and group retreats in yoga and Ayurveda at her own Casa Bermuda. She also has her own beautiful cottage for Ayurvedic Abhyanga and Shirodhara massages.

Ayurveda Seasonal Self-Care

Duration 2 Hours

Every season is different, every single person is unique and so does Ayurveda work, according to to the principles of nature. Receive practical lifestyle interventions in terms of nutrition, rest movement and exercises to detoxify your body, harmonise your dosha and restore balance and refresh your mind according to the season. With an optional restorative yoga therapy session for deeper rejuvenation.

Pranayama (Yoga Breath) Including Meditation

Duration 1.5-3 hours – from €75 per person

Pranayama is a breathing practice from yoga that supports physical, mental and emotional well-being. Pranayama meets everyone where they are. It may calm the nervous system, ease emotional tension, increase energy or sharpen focus. Through conscious breathing, the body and mind are invited back into balance, allowing each person to experience what they most need in the moment. Honour Your Beauty

Duration 3 Hours – Price upon request

Ayurtreat proudly presents this beauty workshop, where you will learn how to maintain healthy skin, prevent skin conditions, and care for skin that is prone to imbalances. Discover how to nourish your body with time-tested Ayurvedic rituals, that honour your unique body type and modern lifestyle. Learn to make your own facial packs, hair treatments and body scrubs with natural herbs.

Sacred Ayurveda Ceremonies

Duration Approx. 2 hours per group up to 10 people – €175

Enrich your retreat with the energy of a powerful circle! Ayurtreat has developed a beautiful women’s sacred circle, based on the season that includes, mediation, breathwork and mantra chanting. Each circle is guided with care and intention, allowing women to slow down, reconnect and share in a supportive environment. Each circle is unique, has its own theme and can be adjusted upon the need of the group.
